My passion is consulting with healthcare facilities on safety, disaster planning, transition planning and environmental sustainability. My extensive knowledge of the healthcare environment has given me invaluable expertise in this area. I thrive on working with the various professions in the healthcare setting and use this experience to help facilities understand their safety and emergency responsibilities by planning programs to reduce patient and employee risk. I work with healthcare organizations to ensure they are in complete compliance with Joint Commission standards and CMS Conditions of Participation. I review hospitals new construction plans and documents and the built environment for ergonomic and safety hazards as well as compliance and licensing issues prior to occupancy. I enjoy public speaking and have presented at the Environment of Care Summit, the San Francisco General Hospital Rebuild project, the Presidio Graduate School and many local venues.
