2011 - Currently directing the LEED certification process as the LEED AP for the Royal Recycling Center in Modesto, California. This is the first metals recycling center in the United States to seek LEED certification.
2010 - 2011 - Regular contributor to the Environment of Care Leader, a Decision Health publication.
2011 - Speaker - Presidio Graduate School of Management- Presentation to graduate students on the challenges and benefits of developing a "Green Business".
2011 - Speaker - San Francisco General Hospital Rebuild monthly program. "Build it Safe, Build it Right and Build it Green" - principles of building a safe and Joint Commission compliant hospital that enhances environmental sustainability.
2010 - 2011 - Consultant - University of California San Francisco Mission Bay Medical Center project. Provides on-going consult to ensure that the design is compliant with Title 22, Joint Commission and CMS CoP. Also partiicpated in the project's LEED documentation. Also developing the checklist for ensuring the medical center is fully prepared and compliant for licensing purposes.
2010 - Participated as a subject-matter expert group formed for GBCI test development. As part of the group, I assisted in drafting, revising and reviewing items for possible inclusion in the GBCI item bank, and linked such items to test specification and available reference resources.
